Freelance Fast Forward is seeking to upskill Egyptians and Refugees residing in Egypt with the needed digital and freelancing skills to enable them to start their journey in digital freelancing. The program has three components:
1.Technical Training,
2. Freelancing Training and
3. Mentorship and exclusive access to freelancing marketplaces as Freelancer.com.
This program is free of charge and available to all eligible learners who successfully pass the application on our website. The program consists of a 4-month, self-guided learning journey followed by 3 months of mentorship & coaching on freelancing and exclusive perks on freelancing platforms such as Freelancer.com. The scholarship will focus on the three Nanodegrees (Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, and Front-End Web Development)
Students will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects designed by industry experts to build their portfolio of skills. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in freelancing techniques to land gigs on international freelancing platforms as Freelancer.com.
As a student in the Freelance Fast Forward Scholarship Program, your learning journey will be composed of 4 months of self-guided technical and freelancing training, and after graduation, you will join the Freelancing Partner Program (FPP) for 3 months. Throughout your entire learning journey, you will have access to an online community platform, where you will get to ask other students and mentors for support to help you through any learning difficulties or even to network!
- Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Egyptians or UNHCR document holders living in Egypt
- Applicants must be located in Greater Cairo (Cairo, Giza, Qalyobia), Alexandria, or Damietta
- Must be interested and ready to work as a freelancer after program completion
- Priority will be given to young professionals and fresh grads aspiring to pursue a digital freelancing career or make a side income from freelancing.
- Preference for individuals aged 18-40
- English proficiency
- Have basic ICT skills and knowledge
- Have access to a computer and internet
- Females and holders of UNHCR documents and highly encouraged to apply

The program is designed to run from Sunday, September 8, 2024, to Monday, December 30, 2024 followed by an applied coaching on freelancing (Freelancing Partner Program) between January 21 to April 21, 2024 . However, it is important to note that the program is self-paced, you can finish it in less than the designed duration if you wish.
- Each Nanodegree has a set of defined knowledge areas or prerequisites. You can access the details of each Nanodegree on its dedicated webpage. You will need access to a reliable internet and have knowledge of basic computer skills.

- A fully submitted application cannot be deleted. Please ensure you are submitting accurate and correct information, and that you are committed to the program timelines before submitting your application.
- This is a fully online program with live virtual connect sessions. Throughout the cohort, students get to learn through online videos in their classroom and interact with peers, coaches, and instructors on their community platform and in their weekly Connect and Freelancing Sessions.
- You should maintain the same email address you used to apply for the Program for the duration of your entire course in order to maintain eligibility for this Nanodegree program.
There are no withdrawal or postponing options available in the program. You should only join this program if you are committed to learning and graduating within the defined timeline of the program.
